In a shared commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community building, Multiple Intelligence International School (MIIS) partnered with Parklinks, ETON Properties, and AyalaLand for a meaningful Tree Planting Event at Parklinks—an initiative designed to nurture both the environment and the next generation of changemakers.
The event brought together leaders from the public and private sectors, educators, students, and community members, highlighting the power of collaboration in creating greener, more resilient urban spaces.

The program was hosted by Kayla Nocum, who guided participants through a morning of reflection, learning, and hands-on action. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including:
Their participation reflected a shared vision of sustainable development grounded in community, education, and care for the environment.

The morning opened with an invocation by MIIS Voices, featuring “I Am the Earth,” setting a reflective tone for the day. This was followed by opening and welcome remarks from project partners, including ETON, and a message from the Pasig City LGU emphasizing the role of communities in protecting urban ecosystems.
A key highlight was the Miyawaki Method Q&A, which explained how planting dense, diverse native species can accelerate forest growth—allowing urban forests to mature in just 20–30 years. This approach makes reforestation both practical and impactful for developments like Parklinks.

Participants were then guided through a demo planting session led by Ms. Earth Philippines 2025, Ms. Joy Barcoma, preparing them for the main activity. The program was further enriched by a performance of “What a Wonderful World” by MIIS Voices and Chant, celebrating collective action for the planet.
After a photo opportunity with MIIS students, partners, and LGU representatives, participants moved on to the main tree planting activity.

MIIS students, together with partners and community members, actively took part in planting native trees to help grow a future eco-forest at Parklinks. Each tree symbolized a shared investment in environmental resilience, education, and community well-being.
More than a one-day activity, the Parklinks Tree Planting Event served as a living classroom—reminding students that sustainability is not just a lesson, but a responsibility practiced through collaboration and action.
MIIS extends its gratitude to Parklinks, ETON Properties, AyalaLand, Pasig City LGU, Barangay Rosario, and all partners who made this initiative possible. Together, we continue to grow communities where nature, learning, and future generations can thrive.
