At Multiple Intelligence International School (MIIS), learning goes beyond the classroom. As part of our Service Learning Program, our Grades 11 and 12 STEM students recently participated in an engaging Expert Talk on Renewable Energy, led by Mr. Carlo Jay Mamaclay of Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP).

Mr. Mamaclay shared his professional experiences and insights on how renewable energy is transforming the world and paving the way toward a sustainable future. Students were inspired by his discussion of real-world projects and the vital role of innovation in addressing environmental challenges. During the open forum, they had the opportunity to ask questions and receive valuable advice on improving their own sustainability-driven Science Investigatory Projects (SIPs).
