Welcome message from the Founding Directress


Thank you for taking an interest in our school. We embrace the old African saying, “It takes a village to raise a child” as we open our doors, not only to students, but to their families, as well. Families are encouraged to partner with us in the formation of leaders who will use their intelligences to make a difference. We believe that all students have their own unique intelligences and we try to give them as many opportunities to discover, hone, and apply their intelligences meaningfully through real-world learning. As a school founded on the theory of multiple intelligences, our students are raised in a culture of respect and are active, happy learners who learn their lessons through their different intelligences. MIIS is a pioneer in the Philippines for honing the innovative and creative entrepreneurial mindset among our students. Our small student-teacher ration and progressive way fo teaching has made learning more personal and meaningful. Children are more than a class number and teachers serve as their mentors. 

We encourage you to learn about our unique philosophy of education that prepares students for the demands of the 21st century. Dr. Mary Joy Canon Abaquin, fondly known as Teacher Joy, is the founder of Multiple Intelligence International School (1996). She has a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University (USA), a Masters Degree in Early Childhood from Boston University (USA), and a Certificate in Professional Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education Program. She is the best-selling author of Go Negosyo’s “8 Simple Secrets to Raising Entrepreneurs” and is an education reform advocate in the Philippines. 

Application and Admissions Procedure

Schedule an e-meet with the admissions team at Submit the required application documents. A student and parent interview will be conducted as part of the application process.



Your child will be scheduled for assessment to have a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.

Parents will be informed of the enrollment period beforehand. Parents can purchase the necessary school materials during enrollment. Please attend the Parent Orientation Seminar at the beginning of the school year.

As part of the admission process, kindly submit the following during the Assessment phase:

  • Accomplished Application Form for Admission
  • Photocopy of birth certificate (NSO/PSA Certified)
  • Two (2) 2×2 recent and identical photographs
  • Two (2) Recommendation Forms and Narrative Report (if any) from the Class Adviser and School Counselor
  • Final report card (current and previous school year) showing eligibility for the level applied for
  • Photocopy of Passport for Foreign Students 
  • Recent reports from relevant specialists or support programs, if applicable
